Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive Haridwar

    Arrival at Haridwar Railway Station/Dehradun Airport, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Afternoon, proceed for a short tour of Haridwar followed by Ganga Aarti at Har-Ki-Pauri. Overnight stay is at the hotel in Haridwar.

Day 2 : Haridwar - Pipalkoti (Drive, 240 Kms / Approx. 9 hrs)

    After breakfast, drive to Pipalkoti, a small and scenic town which acts as a midway relaxation and night stay point for people travelling to Badrinath, Auli, Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib. Enroute, visit Rudraprayag, the confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini River. Continue the drive for Pipalkoti and on arrival, check-in at the hotel. Evening will be free at leisure. Overnight stay is at hotel in Piplakoti.

Day 3 : Pipalkoti – Govindghat – Pulna (Drive, 60 Kms / Approx. 2.5 hrs) | Pulna – Ghangaria (Trek, 9 Kms / Approx. 5-6 hrs)

    Post breakfast, drive to Govindghat, the starting point of Hemkund Sahib Yatra. The private vehicles are allowed till Govindghat and from here one has to take shared jeep till the last road head in Pulna. On reaching Pulna, start the trek for Ghangaria, where the pilgrims take night halt for Hemkund Sahib Yatra. On arrival at Ghangaria, check-in at the hotel. Ghangaria is a small and beautiful hamlet located at the confluence of the Pushpawati and Hemganga river. After the confluence of two rivers, it is called Laxman Ganga. It is the last human habitation center on the way to Hemkund Sahib and Valley of Flowers. Overnight stay is at the hotel in Ghangaria.

Day 4 : Ghangaria – Hemkund Sahib – Ghangaria (Trek, 6 Kms / Approx. 4-5 hrs – ONE WAY)

    Morning start the trek for Hemkund Sahib. Today, it will be a steep trek of 6 Kms where you may cover the route through pony (on direct payment) as well. Shri Hemkund Sahib is an important pilgrimage destination for Hindus and Sikhs. Hemkund is the breathtaking Lokpal lake located at an altitude of 4329 m from the sea level. The picturesque natural settings make this hill region an amazing place for rejuvenating vacations. One can reach this majestic lake through a challenging but interesting and enjoyable trek from Ghangaria. After offering prayers at Hemkund Sahib, trek back to Ghangaria. Evening will be free at leisure. Overnight stay is at the hotel in Ghangaria.

Day 5 : Ghangaria – Pulna (Trek, 9 Kms / Approx. 5-6 hrs) | Pulna – Govindghat – Pipalkoti (Drive, 60 Kms / Approx. 2.5 hrs)

    Today, bit early in the morning start your trek down to Pulna Village, from here take a Jeep ride to Govindghat. On arrival at Govindghat, board your vehicle and drive to Pipalkoti. Check-in at the hotel, on arrival at Pipalkoti. Overnight stay is at the hotel in Pipalkoti.

Day 6 : Pipalkoti – Rishikesh (Drive, 215 Kms / Approx. 8 hrs)

    Today morning, after breakfast drive from Pipalkoti to Rishikesh. En-route visit Dhari Devi temple situated on the bank of Alaknanda River near Srinagar. Also, visit Devprayag, the confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi River. Dhari Devi Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Devi Kali Mata. Dhari Devi goddess is considered as the guardian deity of Uttarakhand. The temple is located in Kalyasaur along the Srinagar-Badrinath Highway on the banks of the Alaknanda River in the Garhwal Region of Uttarakhand state, India. Devprayag is a beautiful showcase of traditions, myths and mysticism. This is the place where the holy rivers Bhagirathi and Alaknanda meet, making it a unique pilgrimage. From here onward two rivers merge into one and take the name ‘Ganga’. Devprayag though situated, at an altitude of 618 m, is endowed with abundant natural beauty. According to a belief, Lord Ram and his father King Dasharath did penance here. The main temple of the town is the ‘Raghunath Temple’, dedicated to Lord Rama. After the visit, continue your drive to Rishikesh and on arrival, check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay is at the hotel in Rishikesh.

Day 7 : Rishikesh – Haridwar (Drive, 25 Kms / Approx. 45 min.) | Departure

    Morning, after breakfast, check-out from the hotel and transfer to Haridwar Railway Station to board the train for your onward journey. ***Tour Concludes***
