Another beauty of this trekking trail is that it starts from dense pine forest where one can begin the trekking trail walking over the dried brown leaves creating a unique experience and a magnificent view that is absolutely unparalleled.

Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Dehradun – Sankri (Drive, 190 Kms / Approx. 7 hrs)

    Morning, after breakfast, drive to Sankri and on arrival, check-in at the Guest House/Camp. Sankri is a scenic hamlet where you can discover the lushness of the Himalayan valley. Take a village walk around to witness the local culture and lives of Himalayan people. Overnight stay is at Guest House/Homestay in Sankri.

Day 2 : Sankri – Juda Ka Talab (Trek, 4 Kms)

    Post breakfast, start for the first-day trek to Juda Ka Talab, a beautiful lake surrounded by countless pine trees. It is a mesmerizing site that offers scenic Himalayan Landscapes. On arrival, take some rest and evening you can explore the surroundings of the lake. Overnight stay is at Tent in Juda Ka Talab.

Day 3 : Juda Ka Talab – Kedarkantha Base Camp (Trek, 4 Kms)

    Morning, continue the trek to Kedarkantha Base Camp passing through the tree line and some meadows. Reach Base Camp and rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight stay is at Tent in Kedarkantha Base Camp.

Day 4 : Kedarkantha Base Camp – Kedarkantha Peak – Hargaon (Trek, 7 Kms)

    Start the trek early morning this day, as you will be climbing the summit today. After an approximate 2 hrs of the moderate steep climb, reach the summit. At the summit, there is a beautiful small temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. The place also offers a panoramic view of the snow-clad peaks. Thereafter, descend back to base camp. Post lunch, descend down to Hargaon. Overnight stay is at Camp in Hargaon.

Day 5 : Hargaon – Sankri (Trek, 5 Kms)

    Post breakfast, start the trek and descend down to Sankri. On the way, you will get to see various kinds of flora, the forest of pine and meadows. By afternoon, reach Sankri and rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight stay is at Guest House/Homestay in Sankri.

Day 6 : Sankri – Dehradun (Drive, 200 Kms) | Departure

    After breakfast, drive from Sankri to Dehradun and on arrival, disperse for your onward journey. ***Tour Concludes***
